Final Project Thoughts:
The space that I have chosen is the cemetery by my house. In general, cemeteries mean a lot to me on many different levels: they are peaceful, comforting, and a place where I feel solace from the hussel-bussel of everyday life. Death is a part of life and should not be feared. I also enjoy that my feeling towards cemeteries is much different than the typical thought towards them. This grave yard specifically means a lot to me because I have done photo shoots there and because I meditate there frequently. I'm really not sure about a composition for the piece..? Maybe a representation of the space..or maybe have the image just be comprised of rubbings from the tombstones? More thoughts to come.
