Response to Kay Ryan Poem The Best Of It

However carved up
or pared down we get,
we keep on making
the best of it as though
it doesn't matter that
our acre's down to
a square foot. As
though our garden
could be one bean
and we'd rejoice if
it flourishes, as
though one bean
could nourish us.

To me, this poem means that no matter how thick or thin life is; we will keep creating. I think this is true to a certain extent, I know that I always create things based off my moods but sometimes it is easier to create when I have more funds to supply my creatives outlets. This poem is motivating in a way, bu having us realize that we create even if we have nothing much. There is a certain accomplishment feeling one gets after creating something, and I think the last lines of the poem expresses that joy. I like the over all message of the poem even though I feel like others may miss the meaning I've found in it.
