Look around the room: What interests/inspires you?
-There are many things that interest me about this room:
1) The architecture and exposed duct work, lends to an industrial studio feel
2) Solid wall of windows, even tho we tend to keep the blinds closed
3) Evidence of other creative processes going on within the room
4) Color/texture/feel to the concrete flooring and all of its gouges and imperfections
5) The arrangement and groupings of people and things
6) Deep contrast from stark white walls to dark textural floors
7) The silence to think/reflect and just hear the natural hum of the building and room
8) Patterns of light/shadow on the floor cast by the window(natural) and artificial studio light
9) Pattern on ceiling, contrast of white drywall and concrete surround
10) The random way the blinds are set
11) All of the different ways/means to sit (ex: chairs, stools, floor, etc)
12) Knowledge that with me being in the space I am furthering myself as an artists.
